In synch with the evolution of disease management and its broadening scope, the 2008 list of MHE Leaders in Disease Management is based on accomplishments in disease management rather than on program size. To make the determinations, we evaluated leaders against objective criteria, such as blinded outcomes reports, while considering current industry activities. Leaders generally fall into three categories: consultant/academic thought leaders, vendors and health plan or employer executives.
The 2008 Leaders in Disease Management are listed below along with links to DM insight from DMPC and a collection of telling statistics.
