Nine Healthcare Apps Healthcare Executives Wish They Had

“I would like to see patient engagement and secure messaging. First, much of healthcare depends upon the patient engaging with the physician in a dialogue that can lead to better outcomes.  The engagement must be a two-way street. Second, the secure messaging is self-explanatory. Patients and providers must be able to communicate in a secure manner as to protect privacy. Overall, the idea of apps is good but it is also important that low-income and poor patients have access to broadband networks. This is particularly the case in rural areas.”
