Nine Healthcare Apps Healthcare Executives Wish They Had

"Healthcare executives need actionable information—timely, decision-relevant, readily available, and visually structured views of key performance indicators, finances, regulatory and contract compliance, and business, market, or operational intelligence. The app would give up-to-date snapshots of performance at the organization-wide, department, market segment, or product/service levels, with more focused views of high-priority or ‘keeps-me-up-at-night’ areas selected by the executive. The app would provide curated data from the organization’s (often many, disparate) systems and analytics, pre-built measures, executive-friendly business graphics, alerts, and easy-to-use drilldowns, with the more robust dashboard on the desktop. Artificial intelligence or machine learning capabilities would be used to identify performance or compliance issues, determine what data and analytics are the most actionable, and tailor the information, graphical views, and alerts to better meet each individual executive’s needs and learning style.”
